FCSF WOMEN'S CANCER SUPPORT GROUP
Cancer need never be a lonely experience.

The Women's Cancer support Group provides an opportunity to meet with other women who understand exactly what you are going through because they have been there too.
​
The group commenced in 2009, initially starting with 9 members, as a group for women with breast cancer the group was known for over a decade as Breast of Friends. In 2020 the group changed its name to Women's Cancer Support Group as it also welcomes and supports women who have any kind of cancer. The group includes women who are currently undergoing cancer treatment as well as those who have completed their treatment but do not want to lose contact.
The informal meetings offer support, understanding and information to all women affected by cancer.

Relaxed get-togethers provide opportunities to develop friendships with other women who have gone through the same or similar experiences.
​
Discussions are confidential .... your privacy will be respected at all times.
​

The Support Group meets on the first Monday of each month 11.00 am start at Carrickalinga House
Alternate months, the Group meets for luncheon meetings at 11.00am at various locations
Qigong Exercise and meditation classes are held Monday afternoons* weekly 2.30-3.30pm at Carrickalinga House, Victor Harbor.
*Excluding public holidays

Hydrotherapy exercise classes, are held on Thursdays 1:00 - 2:00pm and Fridays 12.00 - 1.00 pm at Fleurieu Aquatic Centre, Chiton.
